MEDICAL, SURGICAL & OTHER CLINIC SERVICES
The Surgical Suite enables the doctor to perform in a sterile environment: major soft tissue abdominal procedures, bone repairing and plating, as well as spays and neuters.
Some illnesses require that your pet be hospitalized so that appropriate therapy and diagnostic testing may be performed. The duration of the stay with us will vary depending upon your pet's condition and age. We will make your pet as comfortable as possible during his or her stay away from home.
The doctor or technician will call you with a progress report each morning after all lab work and evaluations are completed. Our doctor and staff work as a team and continuity of patient care is assured. Visitation is by arrangement with the doctor if it is deemed advisable.
DHAC maintains a full pharmacy of veterinary medications. To help ensure your pet's health and safety, the veterinary practice act of Arizona prohibits veterinarians from prescribing or refilling any medication unless your pet has been examined for that problem within a reasonable period of time.
If you have any questions about a prescription or need a refill, please call in advance. Use only medications that have been prescribed by a veterinarian for the pet in question. KEEP ALL MEDICATIONS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
If your pet needs emergency care during regular office hours please call our office before coming in, so we will be best prepared to receive your emergency. We will then be able to attend to your pet as soon as possible. Our clinic sees regular appointments between 8:00am to 5:30pm, Mon-Fri, and Sat. 8:00am to 12 noon.
If you have an emergency after hours, please call North Valley Animal Emergency Center (NVAEC) at 623-516-8571
